I saw this last night and the first thing I thought was a bomb went off. Its almost unbelievable how large that is for being a plant.

So sad. Thats a huge number of injured, but rather surprised there were not more killed from this. Looks like a war zone.

That middle photo, I think those cars were actually on fire.

So if I had to guess,
Those parts would be like an attachment point of a different material, like a plastic retention nut or something.
