qwerty one looks good! but i would need to see what kind of specs are they going to put in it. I think these will be mid-tier phones. The priv is now $399 USD on newegg. so many decisions. |

aukey and ankey are the same company, anything certified will be good. I also try to buy cables that are longer too because the ones they come with are so damn short... |
I'm liking the qwerty, but I don't buy mid tier BlackBerry :( |
qwerty phone looks good but im not into qwerty phones at all. bought an s7edge to replace my z30 a month ago and while the hardware is very very good (except for having a physical button) and the camera is unreal, i really miss bb10, or even BB-android. android is so clunky and unproductive and heavy and it amazes me that after this long, half the things dont work properly, like notifications. i really hope BB gets their productivity suite rolling one day. or we see an all touch BB-android speced out like a current flag ship. |
marshmallow update is out wooo |
Couldn't wait for WiFi, lucky I got 11gb to burn through. |

Are there any deals on the STV100-3? I'm trying to get one so that I can use it in Asia as well as Canada. Everyone seems to have stv100-1 for sale on craigslist or online, and I'm not about to drop almost 1000 for a brand new one from Rogers. |
the stv100-1 should be the international version. for $500 CAD, the deal above is a steal! edit: my bad! the stv100-3 is indeed the version that supports more bands but does not have wireless charging |
You gotta watch out for the AT&T version ones. You'll follow AT&T's update schedule, and when they do decide to release the update, you'll need an active AT&T sim, and be connected to their network to get the update, even if the phone is unlocked. |

does anyone have an issue with the headphone jack? if i plug it in..it doesn't detect the headphone...i have to plug in half way..roll around a little then it'll detect the headphone and plug all the way in.. using an at&t version btw...i'm hoping its a software issue |

Take a paper clip, unfold it, and gently take out crap/lint from headphone jack. I had my phone for 6 months and I took out the equivalent of a thumbtack just in crap. Same deal with USB port. ...Unless it's brand new; in which case it's probably a loose contact (hardware) |

Now the other headache...left side is wobbly when closed. |
Might pull the trigger this time at $300 USD New Unlocked BlackBerry PRIV (AT&T Branded) GSM Slider Android Smartph ? Daily Steals |
Imagine if they started out with that price |

Loving the marshmallow update. Took away one annoying thing which was the switching apps to SD card. It automatically downloads the apps to my SD card if it's allowed. |
This thread popping back up has got me thinking again. I bought the Priv in December and loved it for the first few days but then found the lil quirks were bugging me. In particular, over-heating, not so impressive battery life and poor camera. I ended up selling it and buying a Note 5 and have been using it since then. On paper however, the camera and the battery are supposed to be better on the Priv. What do you guys think, go back to the Priv? Anyone else swap between a Priv and Note 5? |
I'm thinking about it too. at $500 it ain't bad. even CL second hand is $500. I might pull the trigger. Know anyone selling? |
