Took the minivan there Sunday afternoon around 3 for its first wash in...who knows. Saw a black integra with garage five plate frame behind me with its side skirt all torn off the body except for the front part. Had to drag it all the way to the vacuum section.

My guess is that the guide rail at the front ripped it off. It's by no means low car friendly.

kchan 11-30-2015 06:25 AM

i went once at the beginning of the month - wash was decent

never went back again

had a friend who went couple days ago - car came out pretty dirty as if it wasn't washed lol

I would have but I was already on my way out and there was a few people that left the same time as me from the vacuum area. I'm thinking the sideskirt was installed with bolts at the front (where mudflaps would normally go), then double sided tape or something weak the whole way down.

I was able to bring my lowered mr2 there but by no means is it lowered car friendly. I only went because i used the one on terminal just fine.

Was closed at 5:30am, but was a 12-15 car lineup waiting for it to open...

melloman 11-30-2015 10:53 AM

I passed by on the way to work around 7:15am.. Line up was 5 cars short from Gilley. (Probably 20-30 cars deep)

fishCak3s 11-30-2015 03:06 PM

Went there last night around 1:30am, saw an A5's front license plate (which was mounted off to the side) got ripped off and just hanging there.

whitev70r 11-30-2015 03:27 PM

Should be a ghost town tomorrow ... end of free wash promotion.

7seven 11-30-2015 06:56 PM

I don't get people, we were using the old Smallville studio by Gilley/Beresford, the lineup stretched down Gilley, wrapping down Rumble, must have been over an hour wait for a free avg/shitty $10 car wash. Really people, is your time worth that little to spend an hour or so in line to save $10? cheap people

jing 11-30-2015 07:16 PM

I waited maybe 15-20 minutes each of the two times I went through. Unless things changed recently, both times I received their "platinum wash" which is valued at $18 as per their website. Both cars were actually quite dirty so it was worth the wait/hassle.

That happened to me too. The staff there folds the mirrors in.
My passenger side was still folded in. The mirror on the driver side flipped forward. I didn't realize until I was done the car wash so I'm not sure exactly when it had happened.

Anyway, I went to check it out on Saturday night around 12am. The line up was decently long, and from arriving to the place to driving out, took a total of approx 40 mins. The car was decently clean, but I noticed the rear was kind of dirty still. I'm not sure if it's cause my spoiler on my hatchback was blocking water from getting the backside or something.

This will probably be a one time thing, just cause I think I would rather just wash and detail my own car in the summer.

whitev70r 11-30-2015 09:48 PM

Only 1 hr and 10 mins left people ...

a00755836 11-30-2015 09:54 PM

...till this thread is over.

:seriously:

jcmaz 11-30-2015 11:23 PM

Same, I looked at the line up on Saturday night at 1AM and decided sleep was more important than a clean car.

camaro92 12-01-2015 12:35 AM

I'd be curious to see all the HORRIBLE reviews of damage...

Urrtoast 12-01-2015 06:24 AM

Drove past this morning... looked like the guy working there was sleeping standing up....
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

melloman 12-01-2015 07:21 AM

^^ Same. 7:15am and not a soul there.

:lawl:

604STIG 12-01-2015 08:00 AM

I wonder if any of the people that were told they would get call backs from the owner regarding damage ever did? What's going on with that?
