Ragnar Lothbrok has transferred into the WarCraft realm, hah. Even carries the same accent :lol |
just watched it in China. Pretty decent, what you'd expect it to be. No LOTR but if you played WoW, you'll like it. Pretty decent CGI and fight scenes, don't listen to the critics, obviously it's not winning oscars but it's good entertainment for fans of the game. |
Got my ticket already, seeing it tomorrow. Yup I said many times that I fully expect it to be completely terrible but that's not stopping me LUL |
I saw it yesterday. My buddy enjoyed it and he plays the game. I've never played WOW before.. nor do i know anything about it. i give this movie 6/10... just for the graphics it scored 3 points.. hahahahaha.... |
If you're a Warcraft fan, it was pure nostalgia and ways to see characters and locations put on screen which was very cool. The CGI was actually really good compared to shit like Jurassic World and Avengers. As a movie it was trash. If I didn't know Warcraft I'd probably give it 2/10 for the graphics and fight scenes. I would NEVER recommend it to anyone who doesn't know the universe. If you do, you're already going to see it so it doesn't matter LUL So I give it Warcraft/10 |
Warcraft/10 is good in my books. I remember back in 2008/9 wondering if there would ever actually be a warcraft movie. I guess we can thank all these Comic book movies for studios being more open to making movies for nerds :) |
I enjoyed it a lot. Some of it I didn't get because I'm not well versed in the lore, but I've played since 2005 (I was alliance up until about 2010-2011) so I grasped most of it. I'll be seeing it again because I'm fairly certain I missed some of it. |

I thought it was a fun and enjoyable movie as a person that grew up with WarCraft and having played WoW. Like SP said, it was really cool seeing the CGI'd orc characters and locations in a movie format. It's your typical comic book movie where you get to see your favourite characters on screen with all the CGI and fight sequences. It's never going to win any movie awards, but you go into the movie expecting that because you're a fan that's just excited to see it on the big screen. |

Think the success it had in China in these short few days already means there will be a guarantee sequel. My wechat feed blew up with ticket shot, packed theatre, people going to see it in full cosplay costume. Shit someone even got beat up inside the theatre for shouting For the Alliance invest quite a bit of time in WoW back in the days and really want to watch this movie. Too bad I have so much adult responsibility now and there is no way i'm allow to spent the rare movie/date night watching some nerd movie :okay: waiting for it to come out on netflix lol |

Lok'tar Ogar! |
I still don't get why anyone would choose to be an alliance player FailFish LOKTAR OGAR!!! |
Because they have horses and gryphons, duh :p oh and the giant puppycat race. Seriously though, I think it's easier to play an alliance character when you first start (they're mostly pretty and shiny). I started with an alli char and now have several horde ones on KJ. Plus on all the servers I've been on, they always seem to have an advantage in pvp. |

https://media.giphy.com/media/vRQxk1JF56dt6/giphy.gif only in AV, nothing else. 1 win every hour of BG doesn't count. sooooo....anyone get ganked in the movie? :ilied::nyan::fullofwin: |
D a p Ee bb ss L t A A F! :lawl: wonder if this still works |
On my server it was very rare for horde to be doing any good in the world PVP zone [I forgot what it was called.. that island with world pvp events in it] They always seemed to have an actual organized group going around doing things together, while horde players would just run around doing their own shit |
world pvp is a different animal. on burning blade you didn't see too much world pvp other than shit disturbers. but ya we'd group and camp dungeon entrances or daily quest areas until someone would complain and bring more horde for us to crush...this was with my friends though... |

HORDE FTMFW |
Jesus I've never attended a movie in theatres with so many people talking during the movie. I had to tell 2 people to stop talking. Movie was alright. I could see they were just trying to get shit through and introducing the world for next movies. The nerd giggles when the guard got poly'd lol |
Went and saw it tonight in 3D (did VIP, only had 1 person talking but I didn't hear them that often. Brother complained about it after the movie). Caught a WHOLE bunch of a stuff that I missed the first time. Also, if Blizz does one thing right every time, it's scores. Loved the music for the movie. |
Polymorphed guard and the murlocs ftw |
i liked it a lot! maybe cuz i was baked outta my mind it was kinda lame seeing Ragnar speaking in the same accent as Vikings. didnt know gul'dan was a motherfucking gangsta... did not expect him to be able to scrap 1v1 |
