I got mine at Murray Honda. I talked to my sales rep a couple weeks ago, the December one is already sold (as in someone put a deposit on it) and they aren't taking any deposit anymore.

Just called Murray Honda they confirmed that they are not taking anymore deposits. Sales said they don't know If they will be getting anymore in for 2018. They said best to call and check as they are no longer taking deposits. Called Vancouver Honda also they too are not taking anymore deposits. They basically said if one comes in they will just call the list they have and whoever shows up first will end up getting it.

I think carter honda has a black CTR in their showroom if anyone is looking

Harvey Specter 10-21-2017 10:53 PM

Isn't Honda rumored to be coming out with a cheaper CTR in 2019?

^ according to documents from the NHTSA, there will be a "touring" version using the same engine and 6 speed manual

https://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media...3ndcqgxpak.jpg

so a more stripped down, maybe less hardcore? version of the type r

I think it is the other way around. The current on going model is the touring which has all the bells and whistles.

but the rumored stripped down one (type R)is going to drop the current msrp a little

TOPEC 10-22-2017 04:49 PM

^ both CAD/USA honda websites shows the civic uses either a 2.0L NA engine or the 1.5L turbo engine in what ever trim, none shows a 2.0L turbo except for the type r

smoothie. 10-22-2017 06:11 PM

Won't work. MDX uses a 5x114.3 bolt pattern. The FK8 is on a 5x120 bolt pattern.

Now if you have some sort of BMW wheels...

MDX is 5 x 120... 07 - present

edit - i have bmw wheels on my MDX for winters :)

Traum 11-17-2017 02:15 PM

Interesting! Of course you would know best since you're the owner, but TR was showing a few years that are on 5x114.3, and I normally wouldn't expect them to be wrong.

Hakkaboy 11-17-2017 02:30 PM

2009-2014 TL rims are also 5x120 if you want to keep it within the Honda/Acura family...

People are already starting to find ways to drop them in older Honda chassis. Just a matter of time :fullofwin:
