I bought myself a new 27" monitor on Cyber Monday. When my GF saw it she's like "How much?"

me: $xxx
her: Merry Christmas! I'm getting myself something for about the same amount - that's your gift to me.

WIN-WIN

Hope that thing isn't made in China. coz I saw a youtube video where an electrician in HK dis-assemable one of those. Basically the wiring is too thing, no protection around them. Currently going through the wires to the battery isn't made for such high voltage/Amp. Battery doesn't have any safety features which means it can easily short and case fire. I also saw on the news one lady was charging one of those things brand new, within 40mins the thing set on fire and basically burn half of her apartment coz the battery inside was on fire.

As for what I got:
-A soccer ball for my cousin 1
-Soccer jersery for cousin 2
-Bluetooth speaker for cousin 3
-Lulu yoga bag for cousin 4
-20K mAh battery pack for my sister

A bunch of stuff for my kid like PS4 games, controller, Lacrosse Stick & Gloves. Wife and I don't do gifts, I'm treating myself to Vegas in January but I wouldn't say it's for Xmas.
