VIN: JM1BJ245731217390 (no accidents as far as I am aware, I don't think I ran a Carproof report when I bought it)
Get the fun of a Miata with the practicality of a hatchback!
2nd owner, I have a very extensive service history of shop repairs and oil changes from the first owner, and a stack of Lordco reciepts from my own oil changes every 5k kms.
No body rust (see wheel arch pics), no leaks at all. Not shown in pics but included are Thule roof rack & ski/snowboard holder.
Timing belt complete by previous owner in Aug 2009 at 107,124 kms. Recommended interval is 160k kms (100k miles), so about 65k kms more on it, about 3-4 years of average driving. Clutch doesn't slip and is solid.
The following have been replaced during my ownership from 155k kms:
- Kumho Ecsta 4x tires at 181k
- Rear brakes at 155k, front brakes & rotors more recently
- Front wheel bearings (a common issue with these cars)
- trans fluid
- Coolant flush earlier this year
- Corksport bronze-oil shifter bushings
- Spark plugs, coil packs & wires
- Air filter
- JVC bluetooth head unit (OEM radio also included)
- Battery
Issues:
- passenger side rear door lock motor not working
- parking brake sometimes gets stuck after parking for a long time, especially after driving in the rain.
- Body is totally solid but paint is not mint. Scratches and minor dents, but nothing rusting or severe.
I will be posting this up on CL the next day or so for $4000, RS asking price $3500, located in Richmond.
