Spoiler!

Battery died :troll:

Check engine lights, reduced power, increased emissions, I believe its the throttle body actuator, so does my service advisor but we'll see. I just pray to god that the extended warranty covers it. Such shit luck, went all the way to Seattle with it, and on my way back while in Bellingham all this happened and had to be towed home from there.

Hi guys. Unfortunately for me upon visual inspection from a mechanic, there was slight damage to the 'subframe' and not just the panels (fender, bumper, hood, headlight). I don't know if subframe is the correct term in english. Even thought he was sure it would not effect the integrity of the car, both the mechanic and the importer advised against taking ownership of the NSX as I paid for a accident free one. It will never be the same after repair. I'm going to go with option 3 and get a refund... Back on the market now looking for another NSX!

Not exactly a pic of the whip... But The E34 530i is now a 540i :awesom:

After 2 weeks of driving on the newly refreshed + re-gasketed 3.0L (Everything outside the engine replaced with OEM parts/sensors/gaskets)... I mis-shifted from 3rd to 2nd when doing a short pull merging onto the highway.... Bent 20 valves. I knew that one of my Polyurethane engine mounts failed, and while it may have been driver error, I feel as if the engine twisted under load therefore mis-aligning the throw from 3rd to 4th. 9000+ RPM in a BMW V8 did not sound good.

Not worth pulling the heads off etc and dealing with what is broken.... Solution: $800 Alusil M60B40 (Was in complete car and started up + ran fine... even had dealer service records in the glove box!) with warranty at affordable auto parts.

Here is a pic of both motors at CG Motorsports, Luckily most of the new stuff was able to be transferred over. (Some gaskets obvs could not be used).

Just came back from the S2k Mt. Baker cruise. 11 Canadians went down and joined up with the Washington crew. Too bad it was raining a little. It was also snowing up at top lol.

Spent the morning toodling around the backwoods. I really, really need better tires - these stock tires are shit in any kind of damp ground/mud.

Good choice. I've had KO2's buried up to the diffs and managed to get out many times. Both snow and mud, they're a fantastic tire.

dared3vil0 05-29-2016 07:24 PM

Also, i've owned the wrx for basically a month and a few days.

6500 km as of today. Picked it up with 19.3km LOOOOL

What swayed me to the KO2s were the fact that they are the only LT-rated tire in the stock 20" Ram size (275/60R20). Everything else is P-rated. Work runs the BFG KO (original) on the work vehicles, they're great on pretty much any terrain that I've had to drive over for work, but they're noisy. So I'm hoping the reviews that say that the KO2s are quiet are going to be correct.

if the tires are too loud for you, install a flowmaster super40 muffler. bam! problem solved. :fullofwin:

in all seriousness, they're a great tire. i've got about 20k/km on my set and i still have nothing but good things to say about them.
