It's better than the last one.

Good, not great.

Some of the scenes were done well.

7/10. Something felt off watching it, but Jason Statham's scenes felt like they belonged in Crank. A good thing considering parts felt slow.

watched it for free with VIP tickets via Toyota 86 event. Free drinks, popcorn, candy and swag definitely made it a good experience haha. Movie itself was good, tons of ridiculous scenes of course

Choked TF&TF is no longer on Netflix

Will probably wait for this one to hit streaming services rather than see it in person; last few F&F movies have been too superhero-y for me to watch in theatre and it doesn't sound like this one is any different.

Interesting statistics for the F & F franchise:

Quote:
The Fast & Furious blockbuster franchise unfolds over nearly 14 hours so far—and that’s before an eighth movie in the $4 billion series, The Fate of the Furious, arrives in theaters on Friday. The newest film will speak in a lucrative language that audiences have learned to crave: gear shifts, engine revs, car chases, angry banter about cars, and sips of Corona. Exactly how fast and how furious is the Fast & Furious cinematic universe? The family at Bloomberg decided to meticulously analyze all seven movies to track their evolution. We counted just about everything that could be turned into a meaningful metric, even screen time for men’s biceps.
And the article lists a lot of interesting information about the franchise.

Read on here:

everything is corny as fuck in fast & furious 8 again if Talking GPS need for speed style didn't cheese you off from the films before or Wait...Building to Building Car Jumps......4/10.

if you have some love for cars and everything about it...you'll enjoy the film but i can't turn my brain off for realism vs thinking of the movies Before Tokyo Drift.

Anyone else notice that The Rock and Vin Diesal didn't share almost any screen time. That felt weird to me so I researched it and apparently they were feuding through the whole movie shoot.

The rock called out Vin Diesel for his tardiness and questioned his work ethics.

Simply put it... The Rock doesn't take his shit lightly and it wouldn't surprise me that he holds each and everyone of his team accountable for all actions and will reward accordingly.

..bias Rocky fan here...

IMO this one was the worst F&F movie, barely talked about cars and went overboard with the fantasy like Mind controlled cars, Submarines etc
The Tyrese Gibson and Ludarcris characters weren't even funny.

Wonder how much budweiser paid to put their beers instead of corona.

All this talk about f&f, am I the only one that has lost all interest in is since it's moved from a car based genre to more of a corny action genre. 7 had feels but I still didn't enjoy it as a movie.

Just my opinion but I can't be the only one

I've also read far more claiming the movie was amazing. I may have mis spoke but I still feel like I'm the minority in feeling the franchise has gone to shit

I didn't really enjoy this movie at all. I mean it wasn't Superman vs Batman bad where I fell asleep for 30 minutes but not that far off.

Oh well, I'm sure my son will want to see the next one as well so I'll grin and bare it through that one when the time comes.
