I went to San remo for deep dish pizza. It's so far the best deep dish I've had locally |
^ i actually went there today. You're right, their Lao dishes were really good. Naka Bistro is great for what they have. The prawn paradise was good, love what they did with it, for me I wouldn't try it again. Sai Gok (spicy pork sausages) was great, great lemon grass flavor. Mok Gai, chicken marinated in herbs (mostly dill) steam in banana leaf was full of aroma and I thought it was great. If i'm ever there, I'll stop by again. decent little joint. |
I forget the name of the cuisine but it's Japanese and American/Western fusion. There was a restaurant on Boundary and 29th but they have since closed. Then there was Moncton Cafe that also closed in 2015. Any other locations for this type of food? |

Let me know if it's any good if you visit this place. |

Will echo Hi-Genki. I think Saboten at Aberdeen is pretty good. The panko flakes are huge (I wonder if they make it themselves on site). |
Where can I eat king crab during the autumn season? The best king crab, regardless of price. |
@CRS I'll vouch for Cafe de l'Orangerie. Also, i'm still looking for the filipino candy Yema. I went to Edsa but they didn't have any. |

Anybody have recommendations for some juicy, fatty pork chop from a restaurant? I really like thick pork chops but I don't know where to get some. The last place that really caught my attention was Tuc's Craft Kitchen's pork chop with espresso reduction, but it has been long gone from the menu. I usually go to Kingyo during lunch for their tonkatsu rice for a quick fix, but I want more options. It doesn't matter what style, fried, grilled, but it's gotta be thick and fat. |
