trying to do it on challenge mode now. takes forever. we shot it about 20 times already with the bombs and it hasent gone down 1 bar of health yet lol

im thinking its gonna take about 2+ hours on challenge mode at this rate

you can also use ur blast shield and explosive bullets if you shoot at the floor below the APC

I cant play long tonight but im guessing this will take about 2-3 hours to do on challenge mode.

Just did it on hard with some buddies. Took about an hour. Blast shield and sticky with explosive rounds

If you have 4 guys that are 180+ gear rank, it's a lot easier to just do it the regular way on hard. Takes like 20-30 mins

I found regen with triage, first aid to be better than running the blast shield. It boosts your CD for sticky bomb across the party. The spam isn't as great like before the patch, but still found it better than blast shield and sticky.

Only did the glitch once so I could get the weekly + boss drop.

The gap between completing hard mode incursions and running standard daily challenge mode is quite large. Everyone needs to be geared optimally and communicate well.

We had 3 guys with blast shield+ sticky bomb and one guy using the health thing that gives you decrease skill cool down with sticky bomb since it's the only way to do damage on the APC

drinking water and the other thing that decreases skill cool down also helps.

And yea male sure you all have high electronics. Maybe high stamina just to get through the first part.

Friends and I did it last night in 25 minutes. Everyone run sticky bomb + first aid/triage and max out skillpower. Your other stats don't matter so just pick up some junk electronics gear in the DZ with +sticky bomb damage on it. I've got a set with almost 40k skill power even if it's garbage.

Sticky bomb then fire first aid on the ground and run around in it. Your teammates will also run around in it so you should be able to rotate sticky + first aid every 5 seconds.

But seriously this was boring as fuck. I hope they patch this so we can't do it anymore...and it would be easy for them to do. Just up APC HP by 1000x and up the bomb damage 1000x...then it would take weeks for exploiters to bust the APC and they wouldn't have to break any other mechanics.

It really isn't worth it. At least with Bullet King, Hutch, Hornet, etc you're still playing the game. This felt like we were purely grinding bullshit...and ilvl 240 drops aren't that much better. I'd rather just do hard mode until we can take on challenge for real.

And I can solo regular challenge mode missions now. 202GS, 174k DPS (irrelevant...but my MP5 crits for 90k on headshots) but more importantly, 100k HP and 65% armor. I think I'm down to 14k skillpower though.

Word is that Ubisoft may come after people who used the glitch. I've taken a bit of a break from The Division since Destiny has given itself a bit of relevance for me for now.

Ubisoft allows people to hack with no fear of anything happening, they aren't going to go after anyone taking advantage of one of there game features intentional or not.

I really doubt anything will happen. I glitched it twice but shit, it's so boring and takes so long that doing it legit is just better.

I'm at GS205 now with full green set pieces (4 Sentry, 2 Striker). 2800/2900/1300 and armor capped. I still have pretty shit weapons though...lvl31 MP5 with deadly/shit/shit and a purple (fuck...) M1A with balanced. I hit for 800-900k with it on headshots though.

LOL challenge mode story missions are easy solos now. I remember when this was fucking crazy hard. Now everything just melts.

Probably because of the rehab glitch getting fixed.

If you armor cap and use smart cover, you can basically tank everything. I just stacked behind cover with two heavies shooting me in the face and dropped them before they got through my first health bar.

They said that last week but they're just bullshitting. People have been hacking the shit out of this game without punishment.

Plus they just played on a stream yesterday with a guy that basically invented the mobile cover glitch and another guy with GS222, which isn't possible without exploits yet.

If they started banning the guys teleporting, using RPM and unlimited Ammo Hacks all day long since release I might believe they are going to do something about people abusing something like that.

Their problem is that they don't understand RNG...that so little of the gear we get is used. They think that every piece of loot has a place and a use but that's just not it. We all want a AUG with Deadly/Brutal/Fierce on it

And the barriers to getting one is ridiculous. They said there would be HE drops on every boss now but most of it is 163 garbage that we used weeks ago and on the off-chance that you get 183 or 204 loot, most of THAT is garbage.

When they had 4 HEs drop off a challenge mode boss, that was probably perfect because right now it feels like a lot of useless effort that isn't fun. I'd rather roam the open world and kill everything but what's the point? No drops anywhere and crafting supplies are nerfed.

Log in to do challenge incursion weekly then nope the fuck out the rest of the time.

Im pretty much bored of the game at this point. will prob just do the daily challenge/weekly incursion thing.

and maybe hit up DZ once in awhile.
