The post, since deleted but snagged by Eurogamer, details the Xbox lineup for February, including a Division open beta from 16-21. "Xbox?" you say. "What do I care for anything that doesn't come in a full tower case?" The listing specifies that the open beta includes '24-hour Xbox-exclusive access', just as Xbox owners had for last weekend's closed beta. It strongly implies its presence on PC.

pretty engaging game so far in beta. first bug i experienced is weapon switch and spamming reload crashed the game...at least on my system lol
oh and van accept already

game is pretty intense. graphics look amazing and theres a ton of features. glad I got this on preorder lol

Some good things, some really frustrating things as well. It seems like the type of game that is fun with friends but would kind of suck playing on your own in the DZ. I know you can do matchmaking but I'm not really into grouping with strangers. I'll probably buy it anyway but I know it's going to make me rage at time.

What system do you play on?

I was playing alone for the Beta, went into the dark zone and had some fun moments. Bumped into a huge crowd of people at an extraction and we all did jumping jacks. We all lined up and extracted our stuff, and then another group came and went rogue on us.

I ended up splitting off from those strangers and went on a solo rogue hunt. The rogue squad was busy fighting the crowd at the extraction, and I went around and found cover and began sniping them hahaha

Aside from some of those fun experiences, I do agree it gets lonely. My bro is going to get a PS4 soon so I have him atleast xD :alonehappy:

I'm hoping to add people from RS as well. Most of my friends are playing it on PC/steam :[

i got ganked a few times soloing darkzone, it was fun to return the favour though :lawl:

Only played beta a few hours, never tried the Dark Zone. It seemed the campaign missions were rather easy even when solo'd. Do the missions scale in difficulty the more teammates you bring?

I think there are more enemies when you have teammates (based on youtube videos that I watched). The same quest seemed to have spawned more enemies per area than normal.

Also, there is hardmode. Which isn't really HARD if you turtle and slowly pick off enemies.

Exactly, there are more enemies with more people and you can change the difficulty which gets you more experience. On hard with a group of 4 it is more challenging.

Anyone find it weird to have to sets of levels? You'll obviously want to level up on the PVE side to unlock skills but you'll have to bring up your DZ level at the same time or your gear is going to be lacking pretty bad.

so DZ levels is separate then the regular game level? I never knew that. thought it was the same except they pair you up with people that have the similar level as you for DZ

I don't think being High Level in PVE and low in DZ will put you at a huge "disadvantage" per se.

If you farm PVE to max level (30?), you will be equipping level 30 gear. Odds are, by then, you'll be using a bunch of the Purple Rarity gear as well.

When you go into the DZ, you're still level 30, with the same gear. But your DZ level is separate. The DZ level will restrict you in terms of what DZ gear you can wear.

Of course, I could be wrong. I am just going by what it feels like. For the Beta, I only went into the DZ after getting some "decent" gear from PVE. In the DZ, I still had all my PVE gear on, while being DZ level 1.

Yes, you have two levels it's kind of weird. The better gear requires a combination of levels before you can wear it. If you want the good gear you're going to have to level up in both zones. All the best gear is in the Dark Zone.
