For those living in China, I don't really blame them. In fact, more than anything else, I'd pity them. When all the major media channels are touting the party line, when any "news" you receive through official means have been filtered, they may honestly believe the false info that they have been fed.

But to those who are actually living on the outside of the firewall, they have easy and readily available access to all kinds of news. Granted, most mediums would still be biased one way or another, and each one will only portray a portion of the truth. But when you piece different chunks together, at least you'll get a fuller picture.

When all those different info are all available, how can any sensible person still believe that China = biggest & best bs?

Here is my take on it.
Filipinos tends to be a lot more friendly. Most of the time they speak some English at least enough to communicate and they seem to have more common sense and are more westernize.

Just look at the Chinese I see them talking loudly in a quiet sign on and people have to tell them to stfu(Try going into any library you will see what I mean), they don't give a fuck about western culture they do things the way back home(lot's of example of grandparents letting kids pee/poo in public, screaming/yelling in public, budding in line) they don't even try to learn some English and then complain when people don't understand Chinese or demand someone help them in Chinese. Also some feel just because they are rich they can demand whatever they want.

These are just my personal experience and yes I have had friends who let their kids pee in public coz he can't hold it. I pretty yell at them if your kids can't hold it give them diapers. We no longer hang out after that lol.

English as first language for filipinos makes them alot easier to deal with than the other ethnicities.

Unless you see them in a karaoke bar.. then they go next level crazy!

Gotta agree with Happyslip about the welcoming, friendly, nature of the philipinos. Even elderly ones are almost always super nice and friendly. They are always the ones offering me beer i have to turn down until they eventually tuck them into my bag for take away lol
