vehicle residual

do you guys know if vehicle residual value, eg for lease, is calculated based on vehicle price without 'options' like freight and pdi, or including freight and pdi? for example if vehicle price is 50,000 and freight/pdi is 3000, is the residual value a percentage of 50,000 or 53k?

Usually based on MSRP without freight and PDI, but some dealer or leasing company set their own residual.
