I don't get the point of putting so much effort into making "human-like" robots, I can't really think of a function that would require a robot to look exactly like a human.

would u rather have some cold clunky whirring machine that took care of you in your old age.

or a hot banging girl that you couldnt even tell was a robot.

we will create machines in our image.

that and we will also want to transfer ourselves into machine bodies.

im pretty sure a lot of us would rather look like humans than ED-209.
