One does not have to pretend to be poor for three days to appreciate the financial support she receives from her parents. While I admire her, somewhat, for going through it, I think its all for show only. All she has to do is to live like an average Joe with no financial support whatsoever. Pay her own bills, look for work, cook her own food, drive a Corolla, do the laundry, etc. for a year. This is how she'll appreciate the value of money, like for real.
