where can i get these guys?

I've tried the source and best buy. I know there must be small tech shops around in richmond but most of them sell car lights .

Lee's Electronics in Vancouver on Main or their Fraser Street location. Main Street Electronics. RP Electronics Grandview & Rupert.

Yeah, I've picked up a few things at RP and Lee's. If you're looking for the flat 8 AA holder, not sure either of them have it. Usually I see 8AAs in a 4x2 brick rather than an 8x1 configuration. Lee's/RP both have a 4x1 AA version of what you posted for sure.
