| Wrong Violation on parking ticket
i just recently got a ticket for parking in a street handicap spot without the permit ( was park to quickly get stuff from work which is right in front of the parking spot) but on the ticket it said it said no stop sign instead of parking under handicap spot. Are both of these violation fee is the same or do i have to call them and ask about it?

Did you get a ticket for No Stopping Zone instead of for the handicap spot?
If it is not the correct charge, the ticket will be thrown out.
Fill out the dispute form in the back and you will be able to speak to a screening officer, who will review the officer's photographs, look for errors and omissions on the ticket and contact you.
I know in Burnaby they will hold the fine at the lower amount until you speak to a screening officer, even if it is longer than the escalation date. I can't speak for Vancouver, but they also use the adjudication system so it should be similiar.

probably was a 3-6 no stopping, and OP only saw the handicap sign.
double failure

if there is a mistake, the officer can re-issue a new ticket with the correct offence.
