Biggest Photo Disappointments

Sometimes I find that I'll stumble upon what seems like a perfect shot....

...you know those moments, where the lighting and the composition just come together perfectly, and you're sure the pics will turn out to be some of the best you've ever taken.

....and then you get home, plug in the SD card, and.....





Garbage. Average at best, even after an hour fucking around in Photoshop trying to salvage at least one shot.

So, yeah.... share your most disappointing pics in this thread. Share your biggest photography regrets, greatest missed opportunities, and reminisce about what could've been....

Waited 2 hours for this scene to come together... and despite snapping at least 100 shots over 10-15 seconds while the plane was overhead, I failed to get a single half-decent pic.
