Bill send me a link for one thats pretty cheap, I think we should set something up. Everyone pitches in $15-20 and we get a model or two to show up. Learn about off camera flash and studio lights | The problem with studio is lighting. We can't use flash as only 1 camera can be commanding, and for continuous, it would mean we have to coordinate an output level suitable for everyone.
I like the idea of a model/subject, but I guess again it would mean 10 monkeys shooting at the same thing from different angles.
What I think it would be good is to organize a photo drive next time. There are some incredible sceneries just 20-30min drive from Van.
In short, we should come up with a topic/center theme for next walk instead of just random shooting on the street. This way, we can coordinate better, less walking and more shooting.

Either plan sounds good to me! If we drive somewhere, can someone teach me how to take rolling shots? |

I was thinking more of a take turns kinda thing. Like say we set up some lighting and go through how everything works, learn about sync speed, learn about light output/aperture, do some practice shots of each other. Then bring in a model and everyone takes 10 minutes to get some good usable shots, everyone can use the same settings and just swap the flash trigger around.
