used em before for home delivery. same type of service as just eat, but with a different variety of restaurants for options.

i had just applied with SkipTheDishes , and was going to go through with it but realized i wont really maximize much with my car i would be using for deliveries lol so i gave it up. Seems okay, dont think you would make much tho, maybe like 10-11 an hour tbh , but i guess if its extra income it wont hurt

Went through my first day yesterday. Did 4 deliveries in 4 hours. $6 per delivery. Ended the day with $28 in tips.

Maybe it's just luck cause first delivery was $100+.

Not bad tbh. A good job for students and when you have extra time in your day off.

Skipthedishes requires you to have a thermal bag and tried to upsell you their bags for $75. They said you make it back from the $15 subsidy per shift. I don't understand why anyone would work for them based on that and $4 - $5 per delivery on top of gas and parking is out of your own expense.

I also read online that if restaurants aren't affiliated, customers pay cash. If customer cancels or doesn't answer door or simply refuse to pay because it took too long, then you're out of luck. Whereas doordash gives you a prepaid MasterCard so any payment is always on the company.
