My uncle got to meet him in at a casino in Calgary back in 70's and took a photo with him in one of those cliche punch poses. Apparently he only agreed to do the appearance if they got his wife an expensive fur coat. My uncle the framed photo hanging in his man-cave but I'm not sure what happened to it since he passed away a few years ago.
