probably, especially in parts of the those countries, as is true anywhere else i suppose (even here in downtown van), but i couldn't really say otherwise... though Pride parades/marches are held in Turkey/Indonesia/? according to the Gay Pride Calendar and google

This guy was known by the FBI to be an ISIS sympathizer and yet he was still able to go to a gun shop and buy guns.

Thanks NRA for allowing ISIS sympathizers and people on the terrorist watch list the ability to buy guns.

I wonder who's side the NRA is are really on.

He's not ISIS, just an ISIS sympathizer. Dunno, maybe doing it to build cred?

westopher 06-12-2016 07:29 PM

This guy isn't ISIS. He doesn't represent ISIS. ISIS didn't call him at home to chat before he went to the STORE to buy guns LEGALLY in AMERICA with a history of UTTERING THREATS and VIOLENT BEHAVIOUR.
Is that clear enough what the problem is here?

Mr.Money 06-12-2016 09:22 PM

he was mentally unstable and became violent what his Ex-girlfriend said...Co-workers even contacted the fbi when they heard he supported the violent acts happening on the news.

highfive 06-12-2016 09:49 PM

I don't get why that gun laws end up being yes gun and no guns. Why can't there just be a strict psychological test before you're allowed to purchase a weapon. filter out all the mentally ill. Either to hurt others or themselves.

Because Americans will vehemently defend a constitutional right intended to defend against attacks from Colonial Britain before relinquishing any loss of right to access guns. All they have to do is restrict based on mental illness history or even if they're on the FBI watch list, which this guy was on. But no, muh right to bear arms will always set the precedent.

Because that would mean gun manufactures would sell less guns making less money. Then NRA would also men the NRA gets less money.

Was looking forward to the season premiere of the series The Last Ship. It was postponed due to the shooting, which I thought was a little weird, but after I found out what the episode was about, I can understand why.

It has scenes of a shooting in a nightclub.

Good move, I say.

man, i've pretty much given up on wading into these topics
America is a lost cause...they've got so much clueless morons who couldn't acknowledge or recognize issues if it was a giant loaded gun staring them in the face

you just can't argue with stupid

if they couldn't do shit when those kids died, they can't do shit forever.
god forbid if someone went on a rampage and killed 500+, they still wouldn't be able to do so shit

but let's just pray for the victims and families, because prayers solve every fucking problem imaginable. /s

So the real problem is that not enough people have guns?

that's a loaded question...

Not at all, I'd be inclined to say too many people have guns but that's not the problem either.
The problem imo is a combination of gun accessibility, crippling inaction from policy makers on control/distribution/background checks, retarded gun-rights lobbyist, and on another level, America's mental health framework.

"Al Mutar is a critic of the term "Islamophobia." He says use of the term has broadened by some on the left to include legitimate criticism of Islam. He differentiates between criticizing ideas and criticizing people. Al Mutar criticizes what he sees as an "unholy alliance" of the regressive left and the Muslim right against the secular or liberal Muslims, which he says applies different moral standards to Muslims."

God bless, doing the good work

Only Donald Trump has the unique ability to somehow make a mass slaughtering about him.

jasonturbo 06-13-2016 12:04 PM

Does anyone else hate these fucking chronic sympathizers?

It's like every disaster/act of terror/etc is somehow directly impacting them, as if their personal life is impacted every time something bad happens. (Only something bad that is captured by the western news outlets, because CNN/FB is the only news source that exists when you're a basic bitch)

Go get some more LIKES while you bounce up and down on the "bad shit happened" dick. It's not like you are actively doing anything with your life to fight these social and climate issues, you just walk around in your tentree shirt like the hero you are.

I can sympathize without the need to post some "look at me" shit on FB, maybe I'm special and deserve attention for that.

End rant - shitty deal for those homos tho. Too late for intense federal gun control wayyy too many guns in circulation, it's the same reason the long gun registry failed here in Canada.
