i think i prefer Larsen to Biega
Larsen at least can be placed in the PP and is pretty nimble...Biega can't play defense in the NHL...guy has no understanding of positioning whatsoever.
but neither of them should be in the NHL, they're 7th dmen at best
hard to say how trade deadline will go...i think and kinda hope the Canucks stand pat and do nothing at the dealine. If a dman had to go, i would think the available ones would be Hutton, Biega and Sbisa for their expansion eligibility value. Stecher and Tryamkin should be untouchable unless it was a really good offer for em. If Canucks are still in the playoff hunt, no way they're trading Tanev and Edler will never waive his NTC.
Not gonna happen but I would love to see Gudbranson go. I still don't like him and the d corps is just fine without him. Hell, I'll take Sbisa over him any day. He ain't worth the paper his next contract will be signed on. Jimbo's love for him and his RFA status is potentially gonna fuck us with another shitty contract. I would honestly take whatever money they were gonna give Gudbranson and give that to Tryamkin (also an RFA in the summer). At least Tryamkin is worth it, has a mean streak, starting to show that he can be an underrated skater and has offensive upside. Gudbranson is all talk.

Larsen looked lost on the first PP line. Putting him on that line means taking Stetcher off, so something to consider.

Not bad......... in fact, pretty good. In tune with just the right amount of vibrato. Then the Star Mangled Banner, he puts in a few tasteful touches. I like this guy. He's no whatshisnuts, from Chicago, but does a good job.

this team like i said is all smoke and mirrors...they will hover around the playoff bubble and miss it by a couple points and we can blame in on all those shitty loses to devils, carolina, arizona, the 9 game losing streak and then end up with a shitty draft position. Hopefully willie will be gone at the end of the season which could be the highlight.

i love how Willie calls out the team for lack of passion but the guy can't put together lines and the right personnel when needed.

He continually puts out his AHL specials out there at key times ie chaput at the end of the game and his 4th line numerous times in the third when they were down....

This team is going nowhere this season or next season with Willie behind the bench.
He is a minor league coach who does not belong in the NHL. I guarantee you that Aquaman is gonna tell Dim Jim to fire WD if this team does not make the playoffs this season or next season!
