Dude loves to cut the pickup notes (for lack of proper term) ultra short............ 16th notes instead of quarter notes. I think I even detected a 32nd note in there.

Willam Shatner would be proud.

Time for some Canucks to step it up a notch.

They can do it......... you can do it. You can do it!

Gaunce hasn't looked too bad between Burrows and Hansen, but then both those guys are hot coming in.

2nd game in a row that Sbisa loses a battle in front of the net and the opponent has an easy tap in.

I expected a blowout... but the only thing I was really watching for was whether Crosby would hit his milestone or not.

So considering he didn't, I would almost consider that as a "victory" for Canucks.

Let's see what the league does with Nyquist and Vermette.

But based on how they handled Rat Face, I am guessing the minimums.
6 games for Nyquist and 10 for Vermette.

I really hope how we lost to Pittsburgh forces mnagement to face the facts that we just aren't very good... but that's probably expecting too much

I don't think Nyquist is going to get much, you can tell when it happened that he didn't mean to do it the way he bent over to check on Spurgeon

pretty sure Willie not being fired is Aquaman expressing no desire to pay out two fired coaches

or because the team really does want to tank and Willie represents the way to do it. Guy is clueless as fuck, will never put together a winning strategy and will be the perfect scapegoat at the end of the season or whenever they want to officially admit a rebuild.

Lol Bartkowski just got released by the Providence Bruins...joins the Flams on a PTO

Good enough to play 80 games for the Canucks last season...not even good enough for AHL this year. Same goes for Willie, good enough to coach the Canucks 3 agonizing seasons, I'll put money down that after his NHL stint, he'll either go to junior or be an assistant in the AHL.

Flames really want in on the tank

agreed.
Hearing that the Habs hired Julien this morning made me wonder if Montreal is going to be the first "Canadian" team to win since 1993. Perfectly fitting since the last "Canadian" team to win was the Habs in 93'.

Or was it the Oilers in 1990?

What an absolute idiot Vermette is. Sure, we've all wanted to take a shot at a ref, but you never do. Even Bieksa was shaking his head.

Nyquist gets 6. Vermette is probably going to get the minimum 10.

in a logical world, Nyquist should've gotten 10 and Vermette 20

but this is the NHLPS we're talking about...player safety, let alone anyone's safety has never actually been their specialty

that Nyquist slash was vicious and could've taken out an eye. Vermette slashing an official no matter how light, is just straight up moronic and has no place in a professional league.

Physical abuse of an official is an automatic 10 game suspension as per Ray Ferraro on TEAM 1040 earlier today.

Nyquist getting 6 games is a joke. I'm convinced you need to murder someone on the ice before the NHL gives out 10+ games
