Leafs walking a very fine line by having Canadian Tire CEO attend the meeting, would be cap circumvention if Leafs arrange endorsement deal between Canadian Tire and Stamkos or raise in any current endorsement deals. Canadian Tire does own the the parent company of SportChek which already has an existing endorsement deal with Stamkos, but any dealings with that business should be conducted separate from meetings with teams.

Rumors of Larsson for Hall deal during the draft almost happening.
Oilers essentially moving out Hall to sign Lucic, to me doesn't seem like a good idea, Hall>>>>>Lucic. If the net result was Lucic & Larsson for Hall, that might be a bit easier to accept for Oilers' fans, if its anything less, that will be brutal.

Wow. So Oilers ended up trading the player that they shouldn't have gotten rid of. Hall was probably their best forward aside from McDavid. RNH should have been shipped off instead.
I guess with Puljujarvi coming in, they felt that a winger was expendable.
