Damn, two games I've been wanting for awhile both on sale (Divinity: Original Sin, Pillars of Destiny). Too bad I picked up Total War: Warhammer already. Can't stop playing that shit.
I'm not even a fan of Lord of the Rings or Hobbit and I really enjoyed Shadow of Mordor, so don't think you have to know or like that world to like the game, I'm sure if you like and know LotR it would make the game even better.

I just re-bought Party Hard. It's like Hotline, but slower paced.
Initially, I bought the game, played it for an hour, and then requested a refund. Then, I bought the game again because it was worth the sale price. My first impressions of the game persuaded me to ditch it. I wanted to move faster, and be able to have a chance at getting away from the cops.
A day later, I saw the refund had been processed. The game was still installed, but the Play option turned into a Purchase button. However, I was still able to directly run the game executable, and gave it another try, with stealth in mind. I really got into it. Some levels, you could count on environmental traps to take out a lot of people. Other levels, it was establishing a kill-zone, and wait for people to come in.
Earlier complaints about line-of-sight issues seems to be resolved, and characters don't see through walls and report your cache of dead bodies. Luck plays a factor, as traps, and special items are randomized with each play.
Buying shadows of mordor, witcher 3, and fallout 4. I might need to take time off work to play. There are so many things to do in these open world games. And I still haven't finished GTA 5.
