Introducing the new Lukas QVIA T790 WiFi DVR Dash Camera with GPS!

Quote:

Introducing the all new Lukas/QVIA T790 one channel dash camera. This little camera certainly packs a punch with the Sony IMX 322 Sensor. This answers the need to have a small and discrete vehicle camera with high memory card capacity (256GB). A very important feature is its built-in low voltage cut-off, a continuous power cable comes as standard meaning there is no need to purchase an additional hardwire kit.

The professional Lukas/QVIA T790 is a single forward facing camera that records in full 1080p High Definition (HD) at 30 frames-per-second and will deliver clear, crisp video footage both day and night. The camera boasts an impressive 135 degree viewing angle allowing you to capture more of your surroundings when driving.

The Lukas/QVIA T790 has a Built-in GPS module that will effortlessly record your vehicles location co-ordinates along with the vehicles speed; it also sets and maintains the precise time and date. This feature can also be easily disabled if not required.

Another feature of the Lukas/QVIA T790 is its built-in WiFi connectivity. This enables you to easily control the cameras settings and functions; you can also save video footage, access recorded files and stream live video in real time. The smartphone apps support both iOS and Android devices and offer you much more convenience whilst out on the road.

Voice alerts help the driver know which mode the camera is current in. And is peace of mind that your camera is turned on, and functioning the way it should. It will also tell you if your memory card has failed and to replace it.

Looks great. Look forward to seeing some footage. How does the livestream work? Is that to 1 device or can you put your drive on Twitch TV or something like that?

Berz out.

Hey Berz,

Live streaming basically just means you would log in to the WiFi signal of the camera with your phone/tablet. It emits a WiFi signal and it lets you live stream the footage on the phone (within WiFi range, usually inside the car), which basically is used for adjusting camera angles. Because most vehicles don't have 24/7 data/internet there's no way to transmit.

Blackvue does have Cloud live streaming abilities, but that does require your vehicle to basically have internet access. So you would need a hotspot or be in Internet WiFi range of a router.
