Manfrotto BeFree ultra compact tripod
Italian-made aluminum tripod for traveling

weighs 3 lbs and folds down to about 15" (fits into carry-on/backpack or even on top of my small Crumpler 5MH messenger as pictured)
comes with ball-head, quick release plate and padded shoulder bag
lightweight and stable for time-lapses, obviously not with bazooka-sized telephotos
gently used cond'n 9.8/10 (still have box/manual)
