No more Dodge Viper

Looks like Dodge Viper is officially dead.
Chrysler will no longer be producing the Dodge Viper.

Won't miss it. In the 90s, the Viper was cool. A big beefy American supercar. More rare than a Corvette of a 911,so they were special. Now, there are just way too many other cars that does what it does.

Would I love to take a Viper ACR around the track? Of course. But overall when I think Viper, I'm like yaaaaawwwwwn....

The first Gen Viper is still very memorable. The first time I learned about the viper was in GT2 License test S7 Laguna Seca =P

I for one think the latest generation Viper is the sexiest car money can buy. Nothing else looks like it, it's truly a unique one-off car. I've never driven one, those who have said it's a love-hate relationship, but judging by its design and powertrain, that thing is the very definition of badass. Every time I see one on the road, which is not very often at all, maybe 2-3 times within a period of 2-3 years, whenever this latest gen debuted, my neck gets broken.

For me it was magazines but it was NFS 1 on the 3DO where I got to actually 'experience' it.

I was too poor for a 3DO but we all must have had a rich friend with one right?

The new viper is the absolute coolest, nuttiest death wish of a drivers car ever produced I think. Shame they finally produced something impressive after 25 years then call it quits.

given viper's notoriety in difficulty makes you wonder how many of these are still alive...96-99 GTS probably one of the nicest piece of Detroit history
