Buck a Shuck Oysters

Any recommendations on Buck a Shuck Oysters for Happy Hour in the downtown area?

I know Rodney's has it, as does Boulevard Kitchen in the Sutton Place Hotel.

Does Joe Fortes still do buck a shuck during their happy hour?

Not sure if Hotel Vancouver still does it.. but last year there was a buck a shuck there and the oysters were Kusshi's.

It wasn't promoted so I sorta went all out.

Have you guys done Boulevard yet? My friend is staying at the hotel and wants to go there, unsure of the quality though. Did Joe Fortes years ago, glad they still have it going on.

Ended up doing Boulevard Kitchen and Joe Fortes. Both were good, Boulevard has higher limits per order (12 per person). Boulevard also has Arrowleaf First Crush as their house white wine which pairs really well with the oysters.

The source of that Happy Hour list is pretty outdated, Blackbird has since closed and a few places have changed their hours and specials.
I was at Bao Down last week and they had Kusshi on the buck-a-shuck but they said it was sold out, for the 2nd time lol I wonder if they only stock very low quantities since it is a slightly more expensive oyster.

Ebisu on Robson updated the Happy Hours for a couple years now.
Buck a Shuck in full swing as well as lowered prices on sushi and beer!

3:00pm - 6:00pm - Everyday
9:00pm to 11:00pm - Sunday to Thursday

Solid, will have to check out Ebisu. What type of oysters do you guys usually stock for buck a shuck during the summer?

This week we are serving Lighthouse.
Our usual rotation would consist of Royal Migayi, Littlewing or Okeover.
