he's on here...forgot his username |
I can't remember how I found out about it but it was through FB. Oversold and packed at 220 cars, they were expecting 60-100. Really well organized, had CNC'd metal trophies for all the categories. But it was mainly centered on classic Japanese, with only one category for "Neo Classic", which had all kinds of newer rides. I took a bunch of photos, will be posting soon. |

what qualify as a classic car? R34 GT-R is classic?? |
Z240 with LS engine, facelifted NSX, IS300, S15, and 350Z, you should call it a Timpo meet rather than the Japanese classic meet |
Classics, or not, a shout out to the organisers for opening up their venue. Sounds like they plan to double the size next time. |
the music got a little odd im fine with brown music, but at a japanese car meet? :seriously: |
yea, I woke up late totally forgetting that AJC was on Sunday. One of my favourite meets. Sweet pics |
Thanks for the pictures. What was the show generally populated with? Your pictures make it seem there was more "neo" classics compared to the older classics. |
Darn, would have loved to have seen this. More pics please. |
The All Japan Classic Facebook site has a list of the cars by class. There were 44 Neo-classic of all makes and 55 Nissan "Classic" (Mainly 510 and 240) |

As Kure said the balance was quite good between the "neo" and "classic" classes honestly I had the most fun walking around in the 510/240 section. There were so many variations of the 510 especially which was awesome to see for me personally. Most of all I think I just enjoyed the atmosphere of the meet everyone seems to be having fun. Here's a couple more pics I got took from the meet: http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...pswzykbhmd.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...pslihw0boq.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...psgu6u3m9n.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...psb8vbmfr7.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...pslfihfjtp.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...psierwwmty.jpg |
