For the first two weeks, I didn't know that you had to activate your roster.
Once I figured that out, I was in the fight. But couldn't figure out how to beat out the guys with Toews, Crosby, McDavid, et al. That's why I realized that PIMs and hits were as important as goals and assists.

Now I'm looking to make some changes that should help us get through January.

My goalies had a tough week, but Holtby is good at coming back. Raanta and Gibson are conflicting, but both are going up against creampuff teams. Maybe I pull Holts tonight?

It's so hard to move up or down in RSX. I've either been in 4th or 5th for over a month now. Seems like every week I either win by 2 or lose by 2. I think top 8 makes the playoffs right?

Is that how it works?
After a slow start (I didn't know you had to activate players), it's getting better but you're right. Looking at the stats, going from 12th to 6th is not that bad. We're talking only a few points either way. But once you get higher up the gaps grow. I'm within 10 points of 5th.

mk1 and I are making it another good week. If Holtby didn't completely isht the bed a few days ago it would be a lot closer. Good thing Gibson played lights out last night.

Kadri went for a total of 9 overall matchup points last night, but also went -3 taking him down to a +6. Tarasenko went +7 matchup points, and my beast McDonagh went +12 matchup points.

I'm still getting my ass kicked in assists, blocks and hits though.....

I know a couple of guys who bet heavily on the Jets this year. Back in September, I would think that it was a great tea, to invest in. But they just can't seem to get it going. As of today, they're the only Canadian team that is pretty well out of playoff contention.
