I know there is a shootings thread, but this one is so close to home. I go there all the time...

Drove by it as it was happening. Never seen so many cop cars. Counted 26 travelling northbound towards the mall. Glad I didn't stop for a coffee

Was just in Bellingham too when that happened. No wonder there was no highway patrol today...

RIP to victims. Hope no locals were caught in that. Would be such a sad situation going down for shopping and not making it back up

I also drove by with my friends as we were heading down to Federal Way. We originally thought they were filming some action movie, but then as we kept going down the freeway, there were just more and more patrol cars flying down towards Cascade.

Kinda sketched out that the gunman is still on the loose.

man the states is getting more and more fucked up everyday....you know it will never change and you know why? Well look at what happened at Sandy Hook with all those kids being murdered. If they are going out and killing innocent children and nothing has changed after that with gun control well it is safe to say it will never ever change.

I don't know if its getting more fucked, but it seems to be getting more divided. The ideologies of the average american are becoming much more progressive, but the right wing, gun crazy, racist nut jobs seem to be becoming much more extreme.

What I found even more aggravating is that either Hillary or Trump may use these terrible incidents to bolster their election platform of keeping Americans safe and get a boost in approval polls. :heckno:

Hey if Trump gets in power and actually does something to fix the gun violence in the States then I am all for it...I am by no means a Trump supporter but he seems like the type of guy that would actually do something. The guy has no filter and for some people they like that and doesn't have to bullshit like other politicians..

Scary and supposedly the shooter ran towards I-5 after the shooting and now is on the loose.

And the racial views and divide in the America has always there but it just took Trump to tap it into the angry, expose it and bring it mainstream. I wouldn't sit here and point the finger and say America is fucked because same thing could happen here because there are a lot of people up here who also share similar views albeit not as extreme as the ones you see in America.

Gf just got back from Bellis Fair and said there's a ton of cops in the mall and stationed at the entrances/exits.

Pretty unsettling to know he's still on the loose

Montreal Gazette claims shooter in custody.

Also said that he went in, went out, came back 10 minutes later with a weapon. There's a possibility that it was a targeted attack and not random.

Police have Washington state mall shooter in custody
