Check out Calibre. It converts between many formats.

i got caliber but this i guess this file has DRM on it, and now i am trying to find a way to remove it. ive already paid for the hardcopy of this book and now a useless ibook, i think these people have gotten enough of my damn money.

it might end up being easier to just scan the damn hard copy and eat the $20 i dropped on the ibook

There's a plugin for Calibre that will remove DRM. Google it. It's very easy to find.

No it doesn't work anymore. As far as I can tell the only thing that currently works is tuneskit which costs 50USD and requires a Mac.
