| Left my keys in my car by accident... need advise
Called a lock smith to come by to open the car. He used a pump wedge and a long arm to get in.
Images for those interested: https://www.lockpickshop.com/AT.html
Now as a complication of opening my door forcefully... it seems as though there is an issue with the door closing. It doesn't see to fully close anymore? I was driving along the highway today and I could hear sounds coming through into the car louder than normal - as if the window was slightly opened.
Any quick fix for this? Will it get better over time? Or... do I need to bring it into the shop?

If you can get it into a secure place, do not shut the door completely or try slamming it as you might bend something out of shape and you can be in a lot worse of a situation. My guess is that when he used the long arm, he unlocked it but the lock didn't go back into it's original position (leaving it in a half locked but unlocked enough to open the door) and is causing the car door latch not to close properly on the door hinge.
You may have to take the door card out to inspect.

him using the pump wedge may have bent the top of the door frame outwards slightly so now it is not making perfect contact with the weather/door seal

As TOPEC stated, the frame's probably bent.

Take it to a body shop if you are sure the frame is bent. If the door is bent, you are looking at a new door.
You might want to contact the locksmith you used, hopefully you had a receipt.

Open the door.
Put your knee on the door card.
2 hands on the window frame, somewhere near where he put the wedge
Pull towards you to bend the window frame back into position.
Close the door and from the outside, check how frame looks. Compare with the good side.
I had my car towed once, got my car back and the frame was sticking out like a cm. I bent it back like the way I described and it's been fine since.

When cars are built through manufacturers, not every door sits and fits perfectly, the guys on the line bend the frame of the door to align everything up. Just tug in the opposite direction that its flexing and just go little by little. It should be fairly simple.. If not just hit up a bodyshop, they will get it back in minutes.

^ Thanks guys, I basically googled it a bit more and followed the steps listed up above. I also rolled down my windows before trying to attempt a manual rebend of the frame, and it worked!!

Yeah... on my old civic, at some point, the window frame was bent outwards to unlock the door. You could see that the spot weld joining the window frame to the door skin was cracked. That probably made a weak spot there and was probably how the thieves got into my car and stole it without breaking a window ;P
I don't know much about bodywork but I would advise to check for rigidity or damage where the window frame is attached to the door skin/frame.

I remember a while back, a buddy of mine locked himself out of his car and asked me to come help him. When I got there I gave him this first:
Then I gave him a wire coat hanger.
