This hit home for me. Pregnancy does all sorts of strange things to mothers. My son was an oversized premie (10lbs 2oz at 6 weeks early) due to her type 1 diabetes, spent almost 2 months in the NICU plus another year in and out of Children's from an inability to eat, including g-tube surgery, and she took it really hard. There were episodes where she would get mad at me over nothing to the point of being nonsensical, where she would drive off and return an hour later, and have no memory of what happened. This occurred during pregnancy and after. Thankfully my son got past the eating problems was she able to start to get back to herself. Motherhood and parenthood is not a cake walk and it can go south real fast. Perhaps if mental health was better understood and taken more seriously, situations like this could be prevented.

PS - Bring Dino and Grid back! Anyone worthy of the dirty.com is worthy here.

Appreciate the candid insight. That's pretty rough

Sad.

And that is just adding even more sadness to an already sad situation. Instead of focusing to support one another, drama / blame / conflict is being thrown around...

Very sad story. My wife works in maternity so she has seen development of it in some early stages with patients. It definitely hit hard for her.
I hope this helps the husband find closure. I think the only thing worse than losing your spouse like that would be living the rest of your life wondering.

Condolences to the family.

Don't want to pry but a bit curious... was there any update on where and how she was found and cause of death?

Reports say that her body was found in water near Bowen Island. Her car was parked at Stanley Park, so I'm guessing she jumped into the water...

Her mom posted on FB said the police said the hiker was on a little used trail and being high tide, was able to see the body floating in the water.

Wow Bowen Island? From Stanley Park? That's pretty far distance...

it was also few weeks after she was reported missing that the body was found.
