Yea trail just matches and I've had some pretty slimey experiences with their salesmen so I'd rather not go there unless I have to

So HD or Lowes for appliances? How are their installation services? I want to swap out my over-the-range microwave.

Can't be worse than anywhere else.

Honestly, if you can, you're better off doing it yourself. At least then, you'll take the time to do it right. So many incompetent people out there who don't give two rat's asses. I've watched many so called professionals install appliances and I'm like, WTF? No wAnder installation was included or discounted.

Unless you personally know someone you can trust. I just call up RS members,

Zojirushi

Zo = elephant

shirushi = mark or brand

put two together and shirushi becomes jirushi.

UBC Asian Studies courses......... so handy.

Just an FYI

If you go to Trail appliances, ask for Darren.
I believe he is at the Grandview store.
We were referred to him and he was good to us. We did our homework first and asked a lot of questions.

so i just found out that my old ass Asus Transformer tablet isn't even good enough to download/run the Sportsnet App

What's a good entry to mid level (read cheap) tablet that can be my living room's caster/general use?

Lol try 50$ off.

If it was 50% off I would be buying a kitchen for the house I don't own.

Edit: Just saw someone else beat me to it.

Do you care if it's used? If not, then pick up a 2013 FHD Nexus 7. I still use mine as my living room caster and for twitter/reading news. It doesn't have Marshmallow stock, but they are super easy to flash. Even on stock, my tablet runs like a champ. Should be able to handle the SN app.

It looks like it'll run you ~$200 on CL

its always easier if you are drinking... And remember both Lowes and HD will beat pricing by 10% so go to the place where the same appliance is more money and they will beat the other sales price by 10%

Check out budget appliances in Surrey or Richmond. Always have great deals and sales, and their service is second to none, especially if you want it done right the first time. My cousin just last week bought a brand new never used scratch and dent $2200 Whirlpool french door fridge, with a scratch on the side (which is completely hidden by the wall) for $899. Just ask for the Revscene discount
