Unless while at -20, they had 3 at faults in 3 years.. THEN they would pay a penalty while maintaining a 43% discount.

Multiple Crash Premium

The only way they'd pay more is for Roadside plus ($28 more), but would need to be -12 or lower for that to drop out of roadstar discount for them to be hit, and that means increased insurance rates anyways. At -20 that cost would stay the same.

Nope.

That only applies to basic coverage. Optional coverage premiums always go up after an at fault claim.

When I had an at fault accident a few years ago, My discount stayed the same with basic and optional coverage.

No it doesn't, the claim rate scale applies to the whole autoplan coverage.

Look at the top. See where it says 'Basic Insurance'?

I know all it takes is a small patch but how much black ice can there be inside a tunnel? Mostly at the entrance/exits?

Hopefully they didn't have winter tires so ICBC refuses to cover them

*fail suit on*

*looks at the summer high performance tires I was driving on in -8 today*

??Estimate the impact of a claim on your premiums

I used the calculator and my insurance would go up by a total of $51 over 3 years if I have 1 accident. I have full insurance with ICBC.

There is already a cap. It's called the 3rd party liability and it's usually 2M or 3M.

I thought third party liability was mostly for injuries/death
