There are very few components on the Maseratis that require specific tools (variatoris one of those that comes to mind). You can easily do your own oil change (oil filter is only available through the dealership but it's 80 dollars a pop). Brakes are pretty much standard affair but parts are expensive. Rotors are every second brake pad change. If you are not interested in reselling the car you could do most if not all your own services.

The problem is when you do go sell it and the next owner find out that it's not dealership maintained you will get a much lower price. All exotics carry the same issue.

installed new front plate bracket and dialed in my ride height a bit more. also, one of my favourite feelings is when a fellow car guy stranger parks next to you. gives a little suprise for when you come back to your car

Love when that happens, or a simple little thumbs up or wave. Love throwing around waves, even when my wife calls me a dork for doing it...although she wasn't a fan when I thew a thumbs up to a blonde driving a new STI the other day :pokerface:
