Who else believes that sports is fixed? For anyone who's interested in sports, it's crossed your mind at least once before. Over the last couple years I've gotten into sports betting and have placed bets based on some of my crazy conspiracy theories. Personally I think sports in general is fixed. Let me elaborate on some of my research. Simple gematria has been around for ages. I noticed that "Superbowl" in simple gematria adds up to be 131 and "Championship" also adds up to 131. The past winners of the Superbowl has had players that joined their team that year when they won. Just for the record, this is just for the winning teams. Here's some stats for the past 10 Superbowls. Spoiler! Last year was the first time betting on the Superbowl. On top of the 131 connections, Peyton Manning was set to retire in 2016. He's highly known in the NFL and I felt they helped him get a final Superbowl win before he retired. I also decided to bet on the NBA using 131 as my foundation for research. As we all know, The Cavs beat the Warriors. Before the series started, I did some research and noticed Lebron James had 127 career playoff wins. If the Cavs were to win the playoffs, he would end up with 131 wins. As I dug deeper into my research, numerology seemed to play a big role and 131 wasn't the only number I was looking at. I was now looking into numbers that lined up. Cleveland's area code is 216, and year was 2016. The final score of Game 6 was 115 and 101. 115+101=216. Lebron James is also known as "King James". The real King James was born on June 19th. Lebron James wins the series on June 19th. Another thing that made me confident that Cavs were definitely going to win was the fact that Nike had just signed him to the biggest contract in history. He was also rumored to be in the new Space Jam movie. Some more interesting NBA numbers. In honor of Kobe Bryant retiring last year, the NBA declares April 13th to be "Mamba Day". Mamba day in simple gematria is 60. Kobe Bryant scored 60 points in his final game on April 13th. I figured if the NFL and NBA are fixed, the NHL must be as well! The Pittsburgh Penguins added Bryan Rust who's birthday is May 11th (131th day of the year) and Nick Bonino whos birthday adds up to 131. I never ended up betting on the Penguins because I wasn't too confident in myself at the time. I wish I had screen shot the date I placed my bets for the Cavs and Bronco's. I have a hunch on who's going to win the Superbowl in Feb and I've screen shotted it now and I'll post it when it's all over. What do you guys think? Am I crazy? Do you guys think there's any merit to my findings or if there are actually any connections between numerology and sports? |
So who's going to win the Superbowl? |
I agree somewhat that some sports leagues can rig the outcome of playoff games. For example, the suspect officiating in NBA playoff games. :troll: Who is your pick to win Superbowl 51? :suspicious: |

Why not post the screenshot now and then we can see if it happens, I'm not being critical at all I'm fascinated by this stuff too... I often feel there's some kind of "reason" for how sports games flow and turn tides and it's not entirely effort or skill of the players involved... Not sure if it's numbers or just energy levels or perception of teams. I think humans are biased as fuck and human refs are faulty not because of missing calls but they can't help but start to favour one team over the other based on whatever affects them (players talking, colours of uniforms, where they're from, prior experiences). It's all very interesting I think. |

you sound like those crazy 9/11 dudes who use all that numerology and math as their reasoning as to why such and such happened :lol |

Recently I started betting the UFC as well. We all know boxing back in the day was obviously rigged. I believe the UFC is very good at writing stories and scripts to their fights. Let's take Ronda Rousey vs Amanda Nunes for example. Leading up to this fight, all the focus on Ronda Rousey. I thought it was strange that after taking that brutal loss to Holly Holm, she was offered a title shot to right away. All the promo vids and advertisements were of Ronda, literally none of them featured Amanda. Amanda Nunes is the first lesbian fighter to be champion. The UFC was definitely going to ride this and try to get the support of the LGBT community. Vegas and the UFC go hand in hand. Vegas had Ronda as the favorite by far. I thought this was their tactic to push people to bet on Ronda. With that said: http://i66.tinypic.com/2d6qgwn.jpg It's funny that you mentioned the colors of the uniforms. I noticed that in almost every single main card event (since the Reebok deal), the loser is wearing black trunks. Everyone knows Connor McGregor is the UFC's star boy and he's famous for showing support for Ireland and rocking green shorts. He's won every fight wearing green shorts. But when he fought Nate Diaz the first time, he wore black. https://cdn0.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/IIY...e_Diaz.0.0.jpg When he faced Nate Diaz the second time, he rolled out wearing his usual green trunks and won. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/content/d.../dia-large.jpg |

Give me the wild card picks too  |
aybe all the focus was on Ronda because the company that manages Ronda WME also owns the UFC. We all know the NHL is rigged. That's why the Canucks have never won the cup. |
Not quite sold on the numbers thing (open to the idea though) but I definitely believe major professional sports are swayed in favour of certain teams as the NBA, NFL or whatever are for profit businesses. If you're the league or a gambler and can gain a little more on a specific outcome, why not sway it in your favour? To me, the officiating screw jobs that stick out to me the most are the Lakers/Kings 2002 and 49ers/Seahawks 2013 conference finals. |
I know there are a fair number of refs that get paid off in a lot of sports, and I'm sure some things are fixed even beyond that level, but I think they can only "fix" the game so much. That said, I'm not sure wtf "131" is supposed to do with anything. Are you saying things are fixed not because some group wants team X to beat team Y for money, but because team X has a some weird link to 131 and team Y doesn't? I think if a group is rigging games and wanting to communicate that to other people they'd just tell them, instead of using some obscure system where people have to hunt for a number by digging through players birthdates and postal codes and shit. As for the UFC shorts, the higher ranked fighter gets first choice of colour. So are you really surprised that the higher ranked fighters are beating lower ranked fighters? |
Like underscore I don't doubt that some sporting events are rigged to some extent however I speculate the number theory in the NFL or the color of the shorts theory not hing more then a coincidence. If the UFC was fixing the Rousey fight they would have had her win instead of getting the shit kicked out of her again, it would been much more profitable in the long run. Her along with Connor were biggest draws and now she's done. |
Although I don't believe in these numbers and colours, I can tell that refs in all sports are inconsistent all over. They keep they game artificially close, probably has to do with entertainment and money. An example would be in hockey when a penalty call is less likely during a powerplay than during 5on5 to avoid a 5on3 situation; an almost guaranteed goal. Some penalties are given more during regulation than overtime because once you get a powerplay in OT it's almost a guaranteed win. Also, it's unlikely that a team will get penalized 6 times in a row for penalties even if they deserved it. Don't even get me started on bogus NBA fouls, man everything is a foul in the NBA. |
of coz there is. Even in some esports there have been players taking bribe to lose on purpose (There was a really famous Starcraft2 player taking bribe to lose.). Now not the whole tame might be on it, but all it takes is a few players to lose a game. If you google about it there are news about it so is no secret. |
I'll give you $20 to put on the superbowl winner if you lose. you give me $10 back and shut your mouth about sports being fixed. if you win, we will ride into paradise :fullofwin: |
|
I'm sure there is some fixing going on sometimes, but then people take it to CharlesinCharge type levels and it loses all credibility. |

As for the second part define what you mean by "kill her off". Are you insinuating that Ronda was in on this and she willingly got shit kicked to fix the fight? Or are you saying the UFC strategically gave Ronda a title shot because they knew she would lose against Nunes? Either way it sounds really far fetched. And no, there's no other up and comer in the woman's division that will bring in close to what Ronda did. |
Fuck rousey. I want to see cyborg fight someone. Rumor has it she was supposed to fight rousey until Rhonda lost to Holme. That threw a wrench into the ufc plans. Add to that, cyborg having issues with her drug tests, and we may never see her fight. That would be sad. |
Cyborg would have murdered her, but she's got her own problems. She never would have made weight and apparently can't lay off the juice. |
This picture will prove the UFC is rigged: Spoiler! |
