Honda self balancing motorcycle

This is crazy! Look at the front fork..it adjusts the balance by itself.

Giving shitty riders false confidence. That's the last thing the riding community needs.

Interesting technology but if you can't balance on a motorcycle, then you shouldn't be riding at all ... or get one of those ugly Can-Ams or Harley tricycles.

The last part of the video doesn't tell you squat. Just say you don't know..

The bike basically have sensors and electric steering to balance out opposing forces.

However if you karate kick it from the side, it won't bounce back like a gyro equipped like the Lit C1

no, it won't be like gyro but still helps.

also the cost, space, weight, etc...to put gyro must be a lot more than this honda one.

I heard 400cc won't sell well in Canada.

CBR400R is 500 in Canada and Ninja 400 is 650 in Canada.
Suzuki GSR400 is called SV650 in Canada too.

Kawasaki used to bring Ninja 400 in Canada and despite being lower insurance bracket, it didn't sell well. People just bought 650.

I think the 250cc - 400cc market is picking up now. I don't see it being a issue if prices are reasonable.

Maybe the bike comes with full riding gear, lined with bubble wrap.

Yeah, but that also hits a higher insurance bracket. 400CC and under is way cheaper.. If I'm going to be in a higher bracket, I would get the biggest CC for that bracket. Which is one of the main reasons why I want a 400cc.

Those bikes are all 400cc in Japan

CBR400R | Honda
CB400F | Honda
400X | Honda

Anyways, Honda is not stupid and 400cc bikes won't sell very well like 500cc because North Americans tend to love more power and displacement.

People in BC will complain because we have ICBC. But anywhere else in North America, Ninja 250(or 300) and Ninja 650 are in the same insurance bracket. Same as CBR300R and CBR650F.

We have 579 million people in North America, and BC has 4.6million, which is 0.79% of North American population. Honda won't bring 400cc bikes just because 0.79% of people are stuck with ICBC, especially when Kawasaki tried with Ninja 400 and failed miserably.

One thing about ICBC though. Because they strictly determine their insurance rate based on displacement, not horsepower or risk factor, insuring supersport is very cheap with ICBC.

I didn't do a deep research about it or anything, so please don't quote me on this, but I've seen so many threads where people are trying to upgrade to either ZX6R or Ninja 650 from Ninja 300, and their insurance company will give them same rate as Ninja 300 for Ninja 650, but as soon as you want a ZX6R, private insurance company would charge you like $3,000 because of high horsepower and high risk factor.

So ICBC actually has very cheap rate for supersport. That's why in BC people are paying much less insurance for GSX-R750, ZX6R compare to much safer Honda Goldwing and Harley Davidson.

If you want to stick within 400cc bracket, your option will be limited.

I like ... never seen this one before. But since it is a Ducati, wonder if it would be in the shop more than in your garage.
