I'd be curious to see how reliability ratings are affected now that they are putting synthetic in all applications.
5w30 is the standard oil for this 1.8l engine that Toyota been kicking around since the early 90's. I don't think just by switching over to synthetic it can go 16k when the previous 2012 Rolla (same engine)I had still required service at every 8k.

Interesting! I've never seen a cap with two viscosity's- hence why I was puzzled.
