Question about Flickr app and BB codes...

tl;dr - take a photo with iphone, upload onto flickr app, embed onto revscene. aware me plz

so i've been dealing with it for a long time, but my patience has run out. maybe one of you guys knows an answer or trick. and yes i have consulted google and the flickr help section, but have not found an answer.

all i want to do is take a photo with my iphone, upload it to flickr, and put the photo on a forum like revscene. yes i have a desktop, but i literally ONLY use it for this flickr problem. i watch youtube on my tv, game on my xb1s and browse on my iphone/ipad.

in order to post a photo from my iphone onto revscene, i have to upload the photo to flickr. that part is easy enough. after that the whole situation goes to shit.

on my desktop, in order to get the BB code or whatever to copy/paste into RS, you just click the share arrow or wtv and choose between multiple options (such as share, embed, email, bb code and what resolution you want the picture to be.

Untitled by 320iCar, on Flickr

that is easy enough. you just copy and paste the hilighted section into RS. but through the flickr app on my iphone, the only suggestion you are given is "copy URL" such as the picture below.

Untitled by 320iCar, on Flickr

with only one available option, i guess ill copy url. as far as i have been able to figure out, there is no section of the "url" that i can then further hilight and copy/paste while using the [img][\img] to make a photo appear.

if im on my iphone and want to post a picture from google into RS, then i just copy the URL and paste it using the [img][\img]. sadly doing the same from the flickr app's copied URL does not to the same.

so you might suggest to just go to the flickr website on my iphone instead of using the flickr app. i have tried that as well, and it doesn't work either. the flickr website is automatically "optimized for mobile" with no option for a desktop version. the flickr help section looks somewhat like a desktop version, but click anywhere else on the website and it brings you back to the mobile homepage.

and then if you click the search bar from the help page (the closest thing to desktop) and try and search anything, it will automatically bring up the app! not even its own mobile browser.

im so fucking fed up guys. no i dont want to switch to imgur or photobucket or other shit. the flickr website is clean, nice, and has all my photos together. i just want to post more pictures on RS and avoid using this ancient iMac

Spoiler!

It's not really the use case for any of these apps unfortunately.

If you really want you can probably search something that uses IFTT.

You can create a simple recipe that'll email you when you upload a photo with the URL.

1. Create a New Applet
2. If FLICKR then
3. Any new photo
4. Send Email/Evernote etc
5. Use the {{sourceUrl}}
edit: you can actually use {{OriginalSourceUrl}} to get the actual URL

The sourceUrl will be a IFTT sourceUrl and you might have to click into it to get the actual URL.

Alternatively you can also create a iOS Safari Extension that when click the share button it'll grab the URL of the flickr image.

But again, use case for these iOS apps are completely different than using it on your desktop. You're probably the 0.01%
