It's sad that people have died and I'm 100% against this kind of violence but really what do you expect when you destroy middle eastern countries and side with the US in such matters.

To the people who will fail and hate on my remarks, ask yourself one thing. What prompted this act of violence?

If you were watching the live stream in the morning they had a guest on who asked the same questions I just did. It was quite interesting listening to him say that if you go in and destroy LIbya as they have done do you not open yourself up to attack?

RELIGION!!! AS ALWAYS!!!.i am a white atheist male. I have nothing against religion and I just choose to not partake. But I will never understand how people believe in religion and shit.

Believe in science for gods sake!

Uh did you even read his post? He didn't mention religion at all but he did talk at length about Brexit as if it would have prevented this incident. FailFish

Yeah Brexit would have totally prevented Jamaicans (part of the British Empire for a long time) from entering Britain. /s

Religion has been a big problem throughout human history. It's just a lot more publicized in this day and age.

They are impressionable outsiders and just the perfect target for gangs or terrorism.

Sweden's perfectly fine. Go research Swedish media sources yourself. Inb4 someone brings up rape stats (any sexual assault in Sweden is considered rape)

I just think it's hilarious how people still believe that Islam is a race...

Also, if you drill a fear driven narrative into people's heads, they will be fearful regardless of what scientific facts there are.

I mean look at planes. Media loves to talk about plane crashes where we start to believe they're very common when in reality, there's typically one crash per 1.2 million flights or much higher. The Economist said 1 in 5 million flights.

It's very easy to control masses of people. You just need an institution be it a church / mosque, school, media etc.

If this is indeed a terrorist attack, and it looks like it is, then the fear is totally legit and needs to taken seriously.

The threat may be real, but people have been scared into thinking it's causing a much higher number of fatalities than it really is. Two people have been killed by terrorism in Britain today, and that is unfortunate, but it's a minuscule number compared to the total number of people who die in the country every single day.

Since 1928, in the US there have only been 3 terrorist attacks that killed more than 17 people. The Oklahoma bombings, the World Trade Center attacks, and the Orlando nightclub shooting the only events with more. In that time just how many people do you think have died in other ways that people aren't in a huge panic about?

And it has been going on for awhile. Europe is in a fucking chaos at the moment with all the different groups of people. BREXIT couldn't come fast enough to stop this carnage.

How is one person being off their rocker an attack on civilization as a whole? And what does BREXIT have to do with anything? According to early accounts the guy had been a UK citizen for years.

What does this have to do with refugees in Canada? Because one person killed two people halfway around the world, you want to leave thousands of innocent people in warzones?

I still get pissed off every time I go to fly in the US and I have to take off my shoes and belt and go in that stupid scanner. All because a couple of people are nut cases and everyone else is too busy being scared of things that won't kill them and ignoring things that actually can.

I wouldn't be worrying about the plane ride there. I would be worrying about the refugees once you land there.

ISIS takes responsibility for the terrorist attack in London.

ISIS takes responsibility for London attack, suspect not identified - NEWS 1130

The Islamic State group says the attack outside the British Parliament buildings in London was carried out by one of its “soldiers.”

The ISIS-linked Aamaq news agency claims the person who carried out the “attack in front of the British Parliament in London was a soldier of the Islamic State.” It added that the person “carried out the operation in response to calls for targeting citizens of the coalition.”

ISIS has called on its supporters to carry out attacks against citizens of the US-led coalition that has been targeting the group since 2014.

The group, which has been responsible for numerous bloody attacks around the globe, have also previously claimed certain attacks in a show of opportunism. Britain’s government has said the suspect was born in Britain and is asking the local media not to publish his name.

Prime Minister Theresa May did confirm the suspect had been investigated by MI-5 for extremist views in the past. Meantime, eight people have been taken into custody following overnight raids possibly linked to this attack.

Terrorism will always be an issue, it's not going away. We need to be measured and reasonable with our response, I am not placating at all is Islamism, but rather a sense of common sense and rationale.

Get used to it, this is the world we now live in.
