I have it. Game isn't optimized so unless you have some ridiculous powerhouse of a machine, you're most likely going to play on the lowest settings.
It is fun, but it can be extremely frustrating. I have only been doing solo queue.

i would imagine the gameplay to be similiar to H1Z1, only real difference to me are the attachments to the guns.

been playing a lot with TOPEC and TOS'd
managed to get #1 on 1 of our games lol
i prefer PUBG over H1Z1 - despite them being very similar but being able to choose when/where to drop is a plus

ive been playing way to much 50 hours within the first week.
The creator of the game designed the KotH for h1z1 and the ARMA mod but made his own game to get his own direction.
Very fun game

I bought H1Z1 and played Kotk a bit, got boring and the game's still so clunky after being in early access for so long.. so makes me wary about buying another EA game, especially when they're asking for almost $40.
would you guy recommend?

Hard to say,updates can really ruin a game,people use to love The Culling and something went to trash after they screwed up on updates and never listen to feedback.
h1z1 the hit marker kinda sucks,Battleground hit marker is way improved compared to that,and Quite fun when you Clan up with decent teammates 3 team Duo.
PUBG also has weekly updates so its slowly getting improved

Yeah you can solo queue, it gets dull after awhile tho..
You can also queue with randoms as well.
So far, most of the random players I been with were friendly and uses voice chat.
But like any game, is 10x more fun with people you know.

Yeah, it's more fun in Duos or in Squads. I'm not into playing with complete Randoms so I either play with people I know or I Solo.
You can do Squad play as a Duo, I do that once in a while with a buddy usually get raped but I find with squads people are less spread out around the map. When doing Solo against Solo's there are people scattered everywhere, you'll walk into some random building and get got from some camper who's been hiding in there for the last 2 or 3 minutes.
I probably have the most fun with a complete squad of 4, I have 4 or 5 people that I know that play fairly regularly. If you get it we can play, I suck shit at this game but I have fun.

I tried PUGS over the weekend. It's pretty fun. Duo or squad is more fun to play than solo.
It can be frustrating at times. Take your time and gear/setup properly. 1 or 2 shots will kill you. Don't run though the map like every other FPS out there...

Tried this game a few times on my bros account and it was a lot of "spawn, find items, die".
Maybe I just need to get better at it but the squad version is much better then solo play.

Anyone try the custom games?
We did some 8 man squads on the weekend with 3x Loot, was hectic but fun.
Go to https://pubg.com/ login with your steam account. Right before a game is about to start a voting option appears on which game type you want to play, if you have 6-8 people you can pretty much pick which game mode is being played based on the amount of votes your team can throw at it.

watched a person playing it yesterday for the first time. it looks pretty fun. 100 people in one game, try to stay inside of a circle that grows smaller and be the last person standing.

I would like to see some pay to play matches. Everyone puts in 25 cents the winner gets the pot/money with maybe a small amount going to the developer.
