But other than that I have seen every car on display in DTP just by cruising about in Richmond, thank you very much for collecting them together and get someone to sing a cover for "fuck you".

It's a fucking race to the bottom in this city now. Luxury stores popping up left and right on Alberni street. Mid-range stores closing left and right on Robson street. The middle class will soon have to fight over scraps in dollar stores and daiso/miniso/so-so/so-what?

My point was, why are you even surprised that Daiso worked; in Aberdeen or not. People don't care about the branding for a dollar store. You could open up a Dollorama or RS Cheap Shit for a Buck store and it would likely yield similar results.

You constantly see people making trips from all over to visit Daiso, but I doubt you see the same for Dollorama.

While the "Made in Japan" sticker may influence the average Asian consumer minds. I won't even be surprised if their items are made in China then repackaged with Japan before they make it onto shelves.
And whoever makes Daiso as their reason for visiting Aberdeen/Richmond must be an idiot. I live in Burnaby. I can tell you that the thought of driving 30+ minutes to buy a $2 widget in Daiso has never even crossed my mind. Fuck me, I might have to pay a few dollars more in Metrotown? And it's not made in Japan? I'll be this idiot instead, my time is worth more than that. Quote:

Imo. Its like having canadian/kokanee brands all your life but someone brings out a sapparo Quote:

I bought joggers in Asia uniqlo, ppl ask me where I got them and the only comparable products here is from Nike. Which is literally quadruple the price
