car covers for street parking

I was wondering if there are any by laws regarding parking on residential street with car covers... like to protect it from tree sap and such.. the covers would just be on overnight and removed in the morning..

i couldnt seem to find anything in the by laws..

Same with bikes and scooters, as long as plates are clearly visible (if a public road) you should be A-OK there are half covers you get which work great for your needs too!
