Hutton has underwhelmed this season; also supposedly his fitness/dedication isn't matching TG's expectations

Writing has been on the wall for a while with Hutton. Both Hutton and Stecher were healthy scratches and limited minutes at the beginning of the season. One worked hard and got the minutes while the other didn't and kept getting scratched for Biega and Poulliet.
Looking at next season's roster, all the players with contracts would lead us to believe Hutton would be #8/9 again.

Yah the Hutton topic has been a regular topic for debate in the Provies... I have a hard time understanding how anyone could not get along with Hutton on a personal level... but they've been saying for a long time he'd played his last game as a Canuck. Even when he got better from this supposed "foot infection" they chose to burn their last call-up keeping Sautner here instead.
I like Sautner too, kid looks super eager and mature... not a big guy but plays big.

It is amazing how Hutton had such a great rookie year, but has regressed the past two seasons. Unfortunately, I believe he has peaked for his skill set. He's turning 25 in a couple weeks, so he isn't that young either... only a year younger than Gudbranson. I'd rather Juolevi take Hutton's spot on the team next year. Much more upside.

remember what happened to other guy who smiled too much aka Lack. Well they trade his smiling as and got a pick which led to drafting Brisbois. I am hoping the same thing happens to hutton because he needs to go and wouldn't mind a draft pick in return.
