I have gay co-workers that are perfectly awesome people to hang out with, so I have no issues with the LGBTQ community. Like men and women, they also need to have a set of rights like Great68 mentioned above.

I do, however, think that our society has gotten to the point where everything has to be so politically correct when it comes to the rights of the gay community.

The spa clearly advertises as a female only spa with no male genitalia, and while transgendered females are female, if they possess male genitals then it's the spas right to decline service and entry.

You don't see men complaining about women's only or women complaining about men's only clubs. It's just accepted that they're private areas for that specified gender.

That brings up the main issue here, that somehow seeing genitalia of the other gender (even if it's on someone who lives as the same gender as you) is offensive somehow. Like all of a sudden if you see pussy, pussy, pussy, dick, pussy, your day is suddenly ruined.

As a father, I am often confronted with gender issues when public washrooms come up as there are few Family washrooms available. It is less acceptable for me to take my daughter into the women's bathroom, so I take her into the men's (which is often much less clean and she can't seem to stop touching everything in there). With my son, who is still in diapers, there are few change tables available in mens washrooms. My options are to use the women's washroom and hope no one comes in, or change him out in public on a bench or in the trunk of the car. Society hasn't provided me and all fathers, with the best options, but I make do, I adapt, as have all the fathers before me in history.

What makes it extra ridiculous is that the rule isn't even against men (which would be acceptable) but against male genitalia. As if the genitalia itself poses a threat.

Gender segregated public nudity institutions should be for adults while families should go to their own facilities. Most adults don't want to be around kids anyways.

It's women only not adult only. Minors do go to the spa.

I get that it's women only, but if they are worried about the children then take them to a clothing required spa.

this is a tough one

I fully understand why other unclothed female patrons would be extremely uncomfortable with balls & peen sitting right next time then when you're supposed to be in a calm, relaxed setting. I'm more on this side of the argument.

but where do we draw the line of being comfortable? I'm sure 'white' passengers in the 50s were uncomfortable with sitting next to 'black' passengers on a bus.

The whole point of going to a women's only spa is so you don't have to be worried.

It might be a good lesson in teaching your child how to mind their own business. I'm assuming that the person with a dick isn't going to put their foot on the bench and pose like Captain Morgan with a kid right in front of them.

Women are allowed to play on mens sports leagues but god forbid if a guy attempts to join the female league. I've had it before. 1 girl refuses to play with the other girls and demands to play with the boys and all of a sudden the locker room now has to become woman friendly. No acting around, make sure you don't accidentally glance at her while she sits on the bench staring at everyone like shes an outcast and don't let her see you naked or horsing around as it may offend her. Women can join boy scouts but no way is a guy ever allowed to join the girl guides. Women can have womens only gyms for those self conscious women who don't want to be eye fucked by every guy at the gym yet they work out in skin tight pants and a sports bra uploading a photo on instagram showing off their massive gains and abs. Meanwhile the self conscious 300lb fat guy covered in sweat struggling to complete 20 minutes on a treadmill has 2 women whispering to each other across the room making comments about how fat he is and it looks like he's going to have a jammer.

If they want a womens only spa, go for it. Just don't let the feminists whine and complain when something opens up that's mens only.
